So you’re interested in sponsoring the SMPS San Diego Golf tournament?

Ah the 80’s. Things moved slower back then. Mobile phones the size and weight of a cinder block ensured a lack of connectivity and slowed response times. There was no internet, no online purchasing. Cars were slower. Football players were slower. Nowadays, taking some time to catch your breath is all the more important. And what better way to spend a day then playing golf with colleagues and clients. The SMPS golf tournament is coming May 30th and we need you to come have some fun with us, while still being on the clock.

You know about our emcee, Bob Buchmann from KGB. You know about our charity, The Community Project: Ethiopia. Let me tell you about some of the sponsors we have lined up.

First, we’ve got our in-kind sponsors, Scantech Graphics, Architectural Photography, Inc. – Brad Anderson, and the San Diego Daily Transcript. They’ll be helping by providing our reprographics, photography and media coverage respectively.

We are also glad to have GEOCON (Silver Sponsor), RBF (Silver Sponsor), McCullough Landscape Architecture (Bronze Sponsor), Van Dyke Landscape Architects (Happy Hour/Dinner/Award Ceremony Sponsor), KTU+A (Lunch Sponsor), and Gensler (Mulligan Sponsor) already signed up.

We still have space for additional sponsors for this event, so please contact me at jeff.stein@nv5.com for more information, or view the sponsorship flyer. Additionally, if you mention this blog post title in the subject line, receive 1 free drink ticket (per golfer, if you have purchased a foursome). Respond by Friday 4/25 for the offer.

Jeff Stein, Sponsorship Chair

Jeff Stein is obsessed with Nintendo and knew all the players on the Los Angeles Raiders. His favorite word is “dude” (and still is…seriously he uses it all time). Jeff is our Sponsorship Chair, which means we should be nice to him. You can find Jeff trolling the links on the day of the tourney, probably passing out free drink tickets.
