Not a good golfer? You’re missing the point!

The SMPS Golf Tournament is the one day in which we look forward to all year long.  Some say they come for the golfing, some say it’s the socializing, others even say it’s the pretty course, but we all know the real reason is because our Golf Tournament is the most fun!  Who didn’t enjoy last year’s circus-themed outing with popcorn, snow-cones, candy, and Carina in a bathing suit…?  I mean dunk tank!

If you thought last year was fun, you better not miss our 30th Anniversary this year at Riverwalk Golf Course on May 30th.  We will be celebrating everything 80s!  So throw on your mom jeans, tease that hair, and grab those neon aerobics pants because there is golf to be played. Still haven’t registered for the golf tournament?  It’s time to commit! Time (and space) is running out. Click here to register. Contact Jeff Rank today at with the title in the subject line and he’ll give an extra mulligan per golfer registered.

Michelle Lamay-croppedMichelle Lamay, Golf Committee

Michelle Lamay is an avid animal lover and rescuer, but not in a crazy hoarding way. Although she did collect every Marmaduke-branded item she could get her hands on, including the Sunday comic strips, which she used as wallpaper. And don’t get her started on Garfield, although she admittedly did have some issues with the voice direction in the subsequent live-action movies. When she is not working, you can find her volunteering with her favorite non-profit, Animal Rescuers Without Borders (ARWOB).  Ever since the age of 5, Michelle has befriended neighborhood dogs.  It is no wonder she started “Bring Your Dog to Work” day within her company.  As a member of the Golf Committee two years in a row, Michelle has been head of the SMPS San Diego Hole.
